Alternatives to Emulsifying Wax

Emulsifying wax is typically a blend of emulsifiers and synthetic waxes used to create cream and lotion textures.

Based on the previous staff recommendation and available products, you can achieve a similar result by combining a Cream Maker with a wax. Recommended Cream Makers include:

• Wax Cream Maker
• Milk Lotion Maker
• Butter Cream Maker
• Soft Cream Maker

These can be used at approximately 3% in combination with a wax like Natural White Beeswax at 2-3%.

Alternatively, direct alternatives to traditional emulsifying wax are also available:

• Emulsifying Wax 1000 (e.q. Emulgade 1000 NI)
• E-Wax (GP-200 Wax)

These products function similarly to emulsifying wax and can be used in your formulations.
