Basic Formula for Cream Makeup

• Mineral Oil (Light or Heavy): Approximately 70-80%
  • Acts as the oil base, helping with spreadability and providing moisture.
• Hectorite Gel (Mineral Oil Base): Approximately 10%
  • Functions as an oil gelling agent, helping to create the cream texture and suspend pigments evenly without settling.
• Various Colorants (Iron Oxides, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Lake pigments): Approximately 10-20%
  • Used to create different colors. Adjust the amount based on the desired color intensity.

Recommended Ingredients:

• Mineral Oil: You can choose between Light (lower viscosity) or Heavy (higher viscosity) depending on your preferred texture.
• Hectorite Gel (Mineral Oil Base): This ingredient helps thicken the oil into a gel and effectively disperses pigments.
• Iron Oxides: Provide basic colors like yellow, red, and black, suitable for adjusting skin tone shades or creating earth tones.
• Lake pigments: Offer bright and vibrant colors, often used for reds, oranges, pinks, yellows, blues, and purples. (Please check the usage restrictions for the eye area for each specific colorant if you intend to use it on the eyes).
