Bentonite Clay Face Mask Formula for Acne-Prone Skin

This formula utilizes Bentonite Clay and other beneficial ingredients to create a mask that helps absorb excess oil, reduce inflammation, target acne-causing bacteria, and improve the appearance of post-acne marks.

Ingredients:

• Water: 51%
• Butter Cream Maker: 4%
• Jojoba Oil (Golden - Deodorized): 10%
• Kaolin (China Clay, 200nm): 10%
• Bentonite Clay: 15%
• Pep®-Acne (Oligopeptide-10 Anti-microbial Peptide): 5%
• Actin AC (5-in-1 Anti-Acne): 3%
• Licorice Extract (Licochalcone A 1%, Water-Soluble): 1%
• Mild Preserved Eco™ (Preservative-Free): 1%

Instructions:

1. Water Phase: Measure the Water in a heat-resistant container and heat to 80°C.
2. Oil Phase: In a separate container, measure the Butter Cream Maker and heat to 70°C to melt.
3. Emulsification: Slowly add the melted Butter Cream Maker to the heated Water phase while blending continuously until a smooth, homogeneous emulsion is formed.
4. Cooling: Allow the emulsion to cool down to below 50°C.
5. Add Heat-Sensitive/Water-Soluble Actives: Add Pep®-Acne and Licorice Extract to the cooled emulsion and mix thoroughly until fully dispersed.
6. Add Oils/Oil-Soluble Actives: Add Jojoba Oil (Golden - Deodorized) and Actin AC (5-in-1 Anti-Acne) to the mixture and blend until fully incorporated.
7. Add Clays: Gradually add Kaolin (China Clay, 200nm) and Bentonite Clay to the mixture, blending well after each addition until the mask is smooth and free of lumps.
8. Add Preservative: Add Mild Preserved Eco™ (Preservative-Free) and mix until evenly distributed throughout the mask.
9. Final Mix: Blend briefly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
