beScent Fragrance Bottle Packaging and Dropper Option
Question
Dear Staff,
Can the fragrance bottles ordered from beScent be packaged in a bottle with a dropper cap like MySkin’s Essential Oil bottles?
Because the inner plastic stopper of beScent fragrance bottles is very, very difficult to open. Also, in some bottles, the inner stopper sinks down into the neck of the bottle, leaving only a thin part of the stopper, which breaks easily. By the time the stopper can be removed, it is already badly broken and cannot be closed back again.
If the packaging style cannot be changed, or if there is a cost issue, would it be possible to add an option for customers to choose the type of bottle packaging?
Thank you.
Answer
Regarding your question about beScent fragrance bottle packaging, the staff explained that using dropper caps like those on MySkin Essential Oil bottles requires high-pressure filling machines, which are not suitable for the small-batch production of the many fragrances offered by beScent. Therefore, they cannot currently change the packaging to include a built-in dropper.
As a workaround, the staff suggested using a separate glass dropper to easily extract the fragrance from the current bottles.
Updated Review: May 2026
This section was added after reviewing the original answer against current product availability and formulation knowledge at the stated point in time.
As of May 17, 2026, using a separate glass dropper remains the recommended practice for handling fragrance oils to ensure measurement precision and maintain oil purity. The current selection has expanded to include specialized tools such as the Glass dropper (large drops) and the Glass dropper (small drop), as well as a Glass dropper with scale for precise milliliter measurements. These separate tools continue to be the preferred solution for small-batch fragrance handling, as built-in dropper inserts require high-pressure automated assembly that is often not feasible for diverse, small-volume fragrance collections.
