Daily Body Sunscreen with Whitening and Moisturizing

For a body sunscreen formulation that includes whitening and moisturizing ingredients, you can start with a base formula using SPF Protect Ultra II. Here is an example of an SPF 50 base formula:

• SPF Protect Ultra II 15%
• Milk Lotion Maker 3%
• Satin Cream Maker 0.7%
• Water 80.3%
• Mild Preserved Eco 1%

To add whitening and moisturizing ingredients, you can select desired actives (e.g., Vitamin B3, various extracts, Hyaluronic Acid) considering their solubility. If water-soluble, they can be added to the water phase or the cool-down phase after the emulsion has cooled. If oil-soluble, they can be added to the oil phase before emulsification or also in the cool-down phase. The usage rate of the actives depends on their specific type and recommendations.

Mixing Method for the Sunscreen Base (based on the SPF 50 example):

1. Mix SPF Protect Ultra II with Milk Lotion Maker, heating to approximately 70°C and blending or stirring until homogeneous (Oil Phase).
2. Heat Water (Water Phase) to approximately 60-70°C.
3. Blend the Oil Phase and gradually add the Water Phase while blending. Continue blending for at least 15 minutes.
4. Add Satin Cream Maker and blend until fully dissolved. The cream will thicken.
5. Add Mild Preserved Eco and the prepared whitening/moisturizing actives (if adding at this stage). Blend until combined.

This formula is suitable for daily body use.

If a higher SPF value is desired, you can increase the amount of SPF Protect Ultra II according to usage recommendations (e.g., 30% for SPF 90) and reduce the water amount accordingly.
