Cera-Flux V Properties and Comparison to Other Ceramides
Question
Could you please clarify the properties of Cera-Flux V? Specifically:
- Is Cera-Flux V a ceramide encapsulated product?
- Is it directly comparable to Croda's DS-Ceramix V?
Answer
Cera-Flux V (Water Dispersible Ceramide Complex, 3 Types) and Cera-Flux VX (Water Dispersible Ceramide Complex, 5 Types) are both water-dispersible ceramide complexes. They are supplied as a gel cream or watery white liquid, designed to be easily incorporated into water-based formulas, including clear formulations, with the application of heat. This water-dispersible nature allows for effective delivery of ceramides.
Regarding the comparison to Croda's DS-Ceramix V, our Cera-Flux V is noted to be similar to SK-INFLUX V, but it is not the same product and is not affiliated with the manufacturer of SK-INFLUX V. We do not have information to directly compare it to DS-Ceramix V.
