Question

I would like to inquire about selecting Adenosine for use in a liquid serum formulation. Which type of Adenosine should I use, and what is the recommended usage percentage for visible results?

Answer

Choosing Adenosine for Liquid Serum

For a liquid serum formulation, Pure-Adenosine™ is a suitable option. It is recommended for use in serum formulations with a pH range of 3.5-6.5.

Recommended Usage Rate:
To see effective results, the recommended concentration for Pure-Adenosine™ is 0.5% to 1.0%.

Note on Solubility:
Pure-Adenosine™ is a powder that can be dispersed in cream or gel bases. Its water solubility is limited (not more than 0.5%). While suitable for serums, achieving higher concentrations (0.5-1.0%) in a purely liquid, water-based serum may require careful formulation or consideration of its dispersion rather than full dissolution.

Another type available is Adenosine Triphosphate, which is suitable for formulations with a higher pH range of 6.8-7.4.
