Question
When producing cosmetic products for sale using ingredients from MySkinRecipes, I have two main questions regarding Thai FDA (อย.) registration:
1. Do all individual ingredients supplied by MySkinRecipes have their own separate อย. certifications?
2. Do I need to register each cosmetic product I manufacture with อย. every time I produce a batch for sale? If so, can I obtain the necessary certification documents or technical information for the ingredients from MySkinRecipes to use as supporting evidence during the อย. submission process?
Answer
Regarding your questions about อย. registration:
- Do all Myskinrecipe ingredients have อย. certification?
Individual ingredients typically do not have separate อย. certifications in the same way finished products do. However, all ingredients from Myskinrecipe are provided with the necessary information, such as INCI names, which are required for submitting your finished cosmetic product for อย. notification/registration. - Do I need to register with อย. every time I make cosmetics for sale using your ingredients, and can I get certification documents?
Yes, any cosmetic product you manufacture and intend to sell in Thailand must be notified/registered with the Thai FDA (อย.) before being placed on the market. The ingredients you use are part of the information required for this notification.
Myskinrecipe provides the necessary information for their ingredients. If you require additional specific documents for your อย. submission, such as technical data sheets or certificates, you can request them from Customer Support at care@myskinrecipes.com. They will assist in providing the documents required by the FDA.
