Answer

Deodorant and Antiperspirant Spray Formula

Here is an example formula for a deodorant and antiperspirant spray:

Ingredients:

  • Water (distilled water): 76%
  • Anti-Sweat™ (Aluminum Chlorohydrate): 15%
  • LipidSoft™ Deo (Triethyl Citrate): 3%
  • Flora Solve™ Clear (Fragrance Solubilizer): 5%
  • Phenoxyethanol SA (Preservative): 1%

Ingredient Functions:

  • Anti-Sweat™: Helps reduce sweating and body odor by inhibiting bacteria.
  • LipidSoft™ Deo: Acts as a light emollient and helps eliminate body odor by inhibiting the process that causes odor without killing beneficial bacteria.
  • Flora Solve™ Clear: Helps dissolve fragrance or essential oils in the water-based formula.
  • Phenoxyethanol SA: A broad-spectrum preservative to protect the formula.

Mixing Procedure:

  1. Combine Water and Anti-Sweat™ (Water phase).
  2. Combine LipidSoft™ Deo and Flora Solve™ Clear (Oil phase).
  3. Slowly add the Oil phase into the Water phase while stirring until well combined.
  4. Add Phenoxyethanol SA and stir until dissolved.

This formula provides both antiperspirant (sweat reduction) and deodorant (odor reduction) benefits.
