Answer
Deodorant and Antiperspirant Spray Formula
Here is an example formula for a deodorant and antiperspirant spray:
Ingredients:
- Water (distilled water): 76%
- Anti-Sweat™ (Aluminum Chlorohydrate): 15%
- LipidSoft™ Deo (Triethyl Citrate): 3%
- Flora Solve™ Clear (Fragrance Solubilizer): 5%
- Phenoxyethanol SA (Preservative): 1%
Ingredient Functions:
- Anti-Sweat™: Helps reduce sweating and body odor by inhibiting bacteria.
- LipidSoft™ Deo: Acts as a light emollient and helps eliminate body odor by inhibiting the process that causes odor without killing beneficial bacteria.
- Flora Solve™ Clear: Helps dissolve fragrance or essential oils in the water-based formula.
- Phenoxyethanol SA: A broad-spectrum preservative to protect the formula.
Mixing Procedure:
- Combine Water and Anti-Sweat™ (Water phase).
- Combine LipidSoft™ Deo and Flora Solve™ Clear (Oil phase).
- Slowly add the Oil phase into the Water phase while stirring until well combined.
- Add Phenoxyethanol SA and stir until dissolved.
This formula provides both antiperspirant (sweat reduction) and deodorant (odor reduction) benefits.
