Question

I have two questions:

1. What are the differences between Light Cream Maker, Soft Cream Maker, and Satin Cream Maker?
2. What type of preservative is added to Rose Water and Lavender Water? If I use these waters at a proportion exceeding 60% in a lotion formulation, do I still need to add additional preservative?

Answer

Regarding your questions:

  1. Differences between Light / Soft / Satin Cream Maker:
The main differences between Light Cream Maker, Soft Cream Maker, and Satin Cream Maker are:

    • Maximum oil emulsification rate
    • Texture of the resulting cream
    • Method of use (mixing steps)
You can find more detailed information on the product pages for each item.
  2. Preservative in Rose Water & Lavender Water and usage in lotion:
Rose Water and Lavender Water contain Phenoxyethanol as a preservative added by the manufacturer.
If you use these waters at a proportion exceeding 60% in your lotion formulation, you do not need to add additional preservative.
