DIY Under-Eye Mask Sheets for Dark Circles

To create under-eye mask sheets that help reduce dark circles and provide freshness, you can use a ready-made mask base like Hydro Jelly Mask powder and add active ingredients.

Here’s a general approach:

1. Choose your base: Use Hydro Jelly Mask powder as your base. It forms a jelly texture when mixed with water and can be poured into molds.
2. Add active ingredients: Incorporate ingredients known for reducing dark circles and improving circulation around the eyes. Suitable options include:
   • REGU®-AGE: Helps reduce dark circles and swelling. Use at a rate of 2-5%. Mix in the final step below 40°C.
   • Pep®-Eye (Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5): A popular peptide for reducing dark circles and eye bags. Use at a rate of 1-5% (3% recommended). Mix in the final step below 40°C.
   • Orange Peel Extract (Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone 98%): Stimulates blood flow to reduce dark circles. Use at a rate of 1-5%. Note that it might cause a warm sensation. Mix in the final step below 40°C.
3. Mix the mask: Follow the instructions for the Hydro Jelly Mask powder (typically mix 1 part powder with 3 parts water). While mixing, incorporate your chosen active ingredients at their recommended usage rates. Ensure the temperature is below 40°C when adding temperature-sensitive ingredients like REGU®-AGE and Pep®-Eye.
4. Pour into molds: Quickly pour the mixture into your desired under-eye mask molds before it sets.
5. Allow to set: Let the mask set in the molds until it forms a peel-off jelly sheet.
6. Apply: Once set, carefully remove the mask sheets from the molds and apply them under your eyes.
