Dog and Cat Fur Serum Formula

For caring for dog and cat fur, the same principles as human hair care can be applied. Ingredients are divided into two main groups: those that coat the fur to make it soft and smooth, and those that nourish the fur to make it stronger.

Recommended Ingredients

• Fur Coating Group:
  • Clear-Cond™ (Quaternium-80): Helps make fur smooth, soft, weighted, and tangle-free. It is highly water-soluble, suitable for water-based serums.
  • HairSoft™ 843: A silicone copolymer that helps make fur soft, easy to comb, reduces static, and does not cause build-up on the fur.
• Fur Nourishing Group:
  • Hydrolyzed Keratin (Liquid, Deodorized): Keratin protein that penetrates the fur well, helping to restore and protect damaged fur, making it stronger.
  • Hair-Prebiotic™: A prebiotic that adheres well to the fur, helping to soften and nourish the fur naturally.

Example Serum Formula (Water-Based)

Here is a basic example formula you can adjust:

• Clear-Cond™ (Quaternium-80): 1-2%
• HairSoft™ 843: 1-2%
• Hydrolyzed Keratin (Liquid, Deodorized): 2-4%
• Hair-Prebiotic™: 2-3%
• Water: q.s. (quantity sufficient)
• Preservative: As needed

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in water. Stir until homogeneous.

How to Use:
Spray or apply the serum onto the dog or cat's fur. Do not rinse off.
