Can EasyWash™ color be used in a serum formulation? Will applying sunscreen after a serum containing EasyWash™ color cause pilling (formation of residue/khui) on the skin?
Answer
EasyWash™ colors are water-soluble and suitable for use in water-based products like serums. However, pilling when followed by sunscreen depends on many factors in the overall serum formulation, the type of sunscreen used, and the application method. Although EasyWash™ colors have a special property of not sticking to the surface and being easy to wash off, which might be related to pilling, it doesn't mean it will always happen. It's best to test with the actual formulation to see the best results.
