Essence Formulation for Easy Absorption

To create an essence with a gel texture that is easily absorbed into the skin, a simple and effective approach is to use a pre-made gel base designed for this purpose.

We recommend using Hyaluronic Acid Gel Base.

This base is specifically formulated to provide light, non-greasy moisture and has a clear gel texture that absorbs well. It already contains a blend of 4 types of hyaluronic acid for comprehensive hydration.

Simple Formulation using Hyaluronic Acid Gel Base:

• Hyaluronic Acid Gel Base: 90-99%
• Additional Active Ingredients (water-soluble): 1-10% (e.g., vitamins, extracts, peptides)
• Preservative: As needed (if adding water-soluble ingredients that require preservation)

Instructions:

Simply add your desired water-soluble active ingredients to the Hyaluronic Acid Gel Base and stir gently until fully combined. If adding ingredients that require preservation, ensure your final formula is adequately preserved.

Alternatively, you can create a gel essence from scratch by combining different molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid, such as Hyaluronic Acid (Standard Molecule) for surface hydration and Hyaluronic Acid (Nano Molecule, 2000daltons) or Hyaluronic Acid (Super Low Molecule, 7000daltons) for deeper penetration, along with a suitable gelling agent. However, using the pre-made base is the simplest way to achieve an easily absorbed gel texture.

Remember to always perform stability and compatibility testing when adding new ingredients to a base.
