Experience with Natto Gum & Green Tea Formula: Irritation, Brightening, and Compatibility
Question
I previously used a formula with Natto Gum and Green Tea Extract at 1%, which caused irritation but provided significant brightening. Reducing the concentration to 0.5% reduced irritation but also effectiveness. I have now created a new formula using:
- Natto Gum
- Green Tea Extract
- Aloe Vera Extract
- Double Hyaluron Liquid
This new formula is less irritating, but the brightening effect from the Natto Gum and Green Tea Extract is less noticeable compared to when I used them alone at 1%. I also wanted to confirm the compatibility of Centella Asiatica Extract with Double Hyaluron Liquid. Could you please confirm the compatibility of the ingredients in my new formula and comment on the observed difference in effectiveness and irritation compared to my previous formula?
Answer
Based on the conversation, the ingredients in your formula are compatible. The staff has confirmed that all the ingredients you listed can be combined without issues. Regarding your second question, Centella Asiatica is also compatible with Double Hyaluron Liquid.
You mentioned experiencing irritation with higher concentrations of Natto Gum and Green Tea Extract previously. It's good that you adjusted the concentration in your new formula to 0.5%, which you found to be less irritating and still provides good results, even if the effects are less pronounced than at higher concentrations. As the staff advised, individual skin sensitivity can vary, and it's best to use concentrations that your skin tolerates well or avoid ingredients that cause irritation if necessary.
