Eye Cream Formulation Steps

This procedure assumes you are making a water-based gel-cream using AnyGel™ as the thickener.

Based on the staff's advice, using a blender with a blade (like the leftmost image you showed) is indeed necessary to properly hydrate the AnyGel™ and achieve a stable gel or cream texture. Simply stirring by hand or using a whisk is not sufficient to create the required impact for the gelling agent to work effectively, which is why your previous attempt resulted in a clear liquid.

Regarding the omission of Slim-Coffee™ and Lift-Now™ in the staff's example formula, that formula was suggested as a simpler starting point for beginners and also highlighted the need to use much lower concentrations for the sensitive eye area. It does not mean that Apple Stem Cell Extract alone is sufficient or that Slim-Coffee™ and Lift-Now™ cannot be used. You can definitely include Slim-Coffee™ and Lift-Now™ in your formula, but you must use them at concentrations appropriate for the eye area, which are lower than for the face or body. The staff specifically mentioned that Slim-Coffee™ should not exceed 3% for the eye area.

Here is a suggested mixing procedure for your formula, incorporating the ingredients you listed at concentrations more suitable for the eye area, and using the recommended blending method:

1. Prepare the Base:
   • Measure out the required amount of Water and AnyGel™.
   • In a container suitable for blending (like the cup of the blender with a blade), combine the Water and AnyGel™.
   • Use the blender (with the blade attachment) to blend the mixture. Blend thoroughly until the AnyGel™ is completely hydrated and the mixture thickens into a smooth, uniform gel consistency. This may take several minutes. Ensure there are no lumps.
2. Add Water-Soluble Actives:
   • Once the gel base is formed and has cooled down (if it warmed up during blending), gently stir in the Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (Pitera), Reservoir-Tech, Rosa Hybrid Cell Extract (HybridCell™), Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Slim-Coffee™, Lift-Now™, Orange Peel Extract, Matrixyl 3000, Apple Stem Cell Extract (AppleCell™), and Safe-B3™.
   • Mix gently with a spoon or at a very low speed with the blender (if possible without incorporating excessive air) until all ingredients are evenly dispersed throughout the gel base.
3. Add Preservative:
   • Finally, add the Phenoxyethanol SA (Optiphen Plus) to the mixture.
   • Mix gently until the preservative is fully incorporated.
4. Final Check:
   • Ensure the mixture is uniform and has the desired consistency.
   • Transfer the finished eye cream into a clean, appropriate container.

Using the correct blending method is key to successfully creating the gel texture with AnyGel™. By hydrating the AnyGel™ first with sufficient blending, you will achieve the desired consistency for your eye cream. Remember to always use appropriate concentrations for the delicate eye area.
