Answer
Facial Spray Formulation Recommendations
Thank you for your inquiry. We are happy to confirm that Galactomyces is now back in stock.
Regarding your facial spray formulation with Galactomyces, Vitamin B3, Pueraria Mirifica, Hi-EGCG, and water, here are the recommended usage percentages for each ingredient:
- Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate: Recommended usage is 1-100%. For a spray, you might use a moderate percentage, but it can be used up to 80% or higher, potentially replacing a significant portion of the water base, especially if using the Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (aka Pitera) or Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (Glycol Free, Glycerin Free, Preservative Free) which can act as a base.
- Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide): Recommended usage is 1-10%. A common and effective rate is 5%. Products like Safe-B3™ or Extreme-B3™ can be used up to 10% without causing flushing.
- Pueraria Mirifica (กวาวเครือ): Recommended usage is 2-5%.
- Hi-EGCG™ (Green Tea Extract): Recommended usage is 1-5%.
- Water: Use purified water (such as Distilled Water or Deionized Water) to make up the remaining percentage of the formulation.
When formulating, ensure all ingredients are compatible and soluble in water for a spray application. Mix the water-soluble ingredients into the water phase. Follow specific mixing instructions for each ingredient, especially regarding temperature and pH.
The staff also suggested that making a gel formulation might be more convenient and pleasant to use. You could use a gel maker like Pro Polymer™ or Pro Polymer™ Silk for this purpose, adjusting the water content accordingly.
Please remember to perform stability testing on your final formulation.
