Gel Formula for Ultrasonic Facial Massager
Question
I am looking for a gel formula suitable for use with an ultrasonic facial massager. I need a formula that provides good conductivity for the ultrasonic waves, offers hydration, and helps balance combination skin. Could you provide a formula using the following ingredients and their percentages, along with the mixing steps?
Distilled WaterAnyGel™Pure MSM™Zinc PCAPhenoxyethanol
I would like the resulting gel to have a non-greasy, fast-absorbing texture and be clear.
Answer
Ultrasonic Facial Massager Gel Formula
This formula focuses on being a good conductive gel, providing hydration, and includes ingredients to help balance combination skin.
- Distilled Water: 94%
- AnyGel™: 1.5% (Electrolyte-tolerant gel maker, provides non-greasy, fast-absorbing gel texture)
- Pure MSM™: 3% (Helps balance moisture)
- Zinc PCA: 1% (Helps balance oil and moisture)
- Phenoxyethanol: 0.5% (Preservative)
Mixing Steps:
- Slowly sprinkle AnyGel™ into the distilled water. Stir or blend slowly until AnyGel™ is dispersed and starts to form a gel.
- Continue stirring or blending until a smooth, uniform gel is formed.
- Add Pure MSM™, Zinc PCA, and Phenoxyethanol to the gel base. Stir or blend until all ingredients are dissolved and well mixed.
- You will get a clear gel ready for use with an ultrasonic facial massager.
This formula uses AnyGel™, which is tolerant to electrolytes, allowing for the inclusion of Pure MSM™ and Zinc PCA without affecting the gel structure. The resulting gel will help conduct ultrasonic waves effectively into the skin, and the beneficial ingredients will help care for your skin simultaneously.
If you wish to adjust the gel's thickness, you can slightly increase or decrease the amount of AnyGel™.
Hope this formula is helpful!
