How to Make Reed Diffuser Fragrance Oil

Making reed diffuser fragrance oil is simple and requires only two main ingredients: Fragrance Oil and Reed Diffuser Base.

Main Ingredients:

• Fragrance Oil: Choose your desired scent, such as Strawberry Fragrance Oil, Jasmine Fragrance Oil, Lavender Fragrance Oil, or other available scents. It is recommended to use fragrance oils specifically graded for home fragrance products.
• Reed Diffuser Base: Used as a solvent to help the fragrance disperse, such as Reed Diffuser Base (Type 1). This base helps the fragrance spread well, does not leave stains, and does not contain DPG, Propylene Glycol, or Alcohol.

Mixing Ratio:

Generally, you can use the following ratio:

• Fragrance Oil: 25-30%
• Reed Diffuser Base: 70-75%

• Note:* This ratio is a basic guideline and can be adjusted depending on the concentration of the fragrance oil used and personal preference.

Instructions:

1. Measure the desired amounts of fragrance oil and reed diffuser base into a clean container.
2. Stir the two ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.
3. If you find that some fragrance oils separate from the reed diffuser base (which is less common with Reed Diffuser Base Type 1), you can try mixing the fragrance oil with a small amount of Ethyl Alcohol first before adding it to the reed diffuser base.
4. Pour the mixed fragrance oil into a glass bottle designed for reed diffusers.
5. Insert the reed sticks into the bottle. The reeds will absorb the fragrance oil and help disperse the scent into the air.

Reed Diffuser Base (Type 1) is a base with a weaker scent that does not interfere with the fragrance, suitable for light-scented fragrances or when you want the fragrance scent to be prominent. If using strong fragrances, you might consider other types of Reed Diffuser Base that are less expensive.
