How to Use Stop-Foam™ (Anti-Foaming Powder)

Stop-Foam™ (Anti-Foaming Powder) is designed to be dispersed in water within your cosmetic formula, not typically dissolved into a concentrated solution beforehand. The amount of water needed depends on the total size of the formula you are creating, not on dissolving a specific amount like 1 kg of the powder.

Recommended Usage Rate:

• Use at a concentration of 0.1% to 1.0% of the total formula weight.
• The exact percentage within this range depends on the amount of foam you need to reduce. Using 1.0% should eliminate foam entirely.

Mixing Method:

• Blend the powder to disperse it thoroughly in the water phase of your formula.

Therefore, to use 1 kg of Stop-Foam™ (Anti-Foaming Powder), you would incorporate it into a total formula batch size that makes the 1 kg fall within the 0.1% to 1.0% usage rate. For example, if using at 1.0%, 1 kg would be used in a 100 kg batch of formula. If using at 0.1%, 1 kg would be used in a 1000 kg batch.
