Fragrance Dispersants

If you are experiencing poor fragrance dispersion in your formulation, you can add a solubilizer or dispersant to help the fragrance oil mix better with the base, especially in water-based systems. This helps the scent spread more effectively.

Here are some ingredients that can help improve fragrance dispersion:

• Flora Solve™ Clear: This is a fragrance solubilizer that helps combine essential oils and fragrance oils with water or water gels without needing alcohol. It is clear, colorless, and odorless, minimizing interference with the fragrance. It is effective for both natural and chemical fragrances. Mix Flora Solve™ Clear with the fragrance oil first (typically 2-5 parts Flora Solve™ Clear to 1 part fragrance) before adding the mixture to the main formula.
• Ultra Solve™: A highly effective solubilizer that can dissolve various oils, including fragrance oils, even those that are difficult to dissolve. It is suitable for use as a dissolving agent.
• Eco Solve™: Offers performance comparable to Ultra Solve™ at a potentially lower cost. It is effective for dissolving perfumes, essential oils, or various oils in water and provides good clarity.
• Dipropylene glycol: Can be used as a base for perfumes and acts as a fixative, helping the scent last longer. It can dissolve perfume well and is miscible in water.
• PPG-6-Decyltetradeceth-30: A solubilizer with low foaming properties, suitable for binding oil in water emulsions.
• C12-15 Pareth-12: A non-ionic emulsifier that can be used as a solubilizer for oil-in-water emulsions.

When using these ingredients, follow the recommended usage rates and mixing instructions for each specific product to achieve optimal dispersion and clarity in your final product.
