Question
I have several questions about ingredients:
- Does Ascorbyl Palmitate dissolve in Propylene Glycol, Ethoxydiglycol, or Isododecane?
- Is your Retinyl Palmitate a liquid? I'm guessing based on the description "ถ้าเเช่เย็นแล้วจะเเข็งตัว" (it solidifies when chilled).
- Do you plan to sell other forms of Vitamin C, such as Ethyl AA2G, MAP, SAP, or VCIP? You used to sell most forms except VCIP, but now only have two. Sometimes I need to include Vitamin C in formulas with a pH around 4-6.
- When will Kinetin and Bio-Yeast be back in stock?
Answer
Regarding your questions about Vit C, Vit A, Kinetin, and Bio-Yeast:
- Ascorbyl Palmitate solubility: Ascorbyl Palmitate does not dissolve in Propylene Glycol, Ethoxydiglycol, or Isododecane. It is soluble only in oil or ethanol.
- Retinyl Palmitate form: Yes, the store's Retinyl Palmitate is a liquid at room temperature, which solidifies when chilled.
- Other Vitamin C forms: The store focuses on selling Vitamin C forms proven to be effective, such as L-Ascorbic Acid and Ascorbyl Palmitate. They are considering reintroducing Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (VCIP) if the price becomes more favorable. For formulations with a pH between 4 and 6, Ascorbyl Palmitate is recommended.
- Kinetin and Bio-Yeast stock: The latest estimate for Kinetin and Bio-Yeast to be back in stock is early next month. Kinetin is currently in the final testing stage.
