Answer
Ingredient Usage Instructions
Regarding the ingredients you inquired about, here are the usage recommendations:
Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (aka Pitera)
- Mixing with Water: It is soluble in water and can be used at a concentration of 1-100% in cosmetic formulations such as gels, serums, lotions, or creams. Using a high concentration might feel a bit greasy. If you wish to mix it with plain water for use, you can start with a lower concentration, such as 10-20%, and adjust as needed.
- Direct Application: Generally, it is recommended to incorporate it into a cosmetic formulation for optimal effectiveness and texture. Direct application at a high concentration up to 100% might be possible, but you should test on a small area of skin first, and it might feel greasy.
Long-Lash™
- Mixing with Water: It must be mixed in the water phase at a concentration of 5-10% of the total formulation. Do not use more than 10% as it may cause irritation.
- Direct Application: Direct application is not recommended. It should be mixed into a water-based eyelash product and applied to the base of the eyelashes, not directly on the lashes themselves.
Pure Keratin™ (Natural, Australian Sheep Wool)
- Mixing with Water: It can be mixed directly into the water phase at a concentration of 0.5-2.0% of the total formulation. 1.0% is recommended for rinse-off products (e.g., shampoos, conditioners) and 2.0% for leave-on hair treatments/masks.
- Direct Application: Direct application is not recommended. It should be mixed into water-based hair care products according to the recommended concentration.
If you have further questions about mixing, feel free to ask.
