Ingredients for Long-Lasting Fragrance

To help fragrance diffuse better and last longer in your formulations, you can use ingredients known as fragrance fixatives.

Based on your search, two relevant products are available:

• Sugar Fix ™ (long lasting fragrance): This fixative contains substances derived from sugar and is used to significantly extend the life of perfume.
• Musk Fix ™ (long lasting fragrance): This fixative uses a blend of musk-group substances designed to have a mild scent that doesn't interfere with the main fragrance while providing long-lasting hold.

Both Sugar Fix and Musk Fix can be used with all types of perfumes, whether natural essential oils or chemical fragrance oils.

How to Use:

1. Mix the fixative together with your chosen perfume.
2. Gently heat the mixture to 50-60°C for a short period to ensure they melt and blend uniformly.
3. Once the mixture is uniform, add it to your main formulation (e.g., lotion base).

Usage Rate:

The recommended usage rate for both Sugar Fix and Musk Fix is 1-5% of the total formulation.

Important Note: Using the fixative at a rate that is too high (above 5%) may paradoxically make the perfume smell weaker, so it's best to start within the recommended range and test.
