This formula for a Tone-Up Sun Serum (SPF 30) is designed to be lightweight, non-greasy, and water-resistant, providing a natural brightening effect for the body.

Tone-Up Sun Serum Formula (SPF 30)

Oil Phase:

• OMC (Octinoxate): 7% (Chemical UVB Filter)
• Titanium Dioxide 200nm EasyDisperse™: 3% (Physical Filter for Tone-up effect)
• Cyclopentasiloxane: 5% (Light silicone for a silky, non-greasy feel)
• Light Cream Maker™: 1.5% (Emulsifier for serum/lotion texture)

Water Phase:

• Water: 77.5%
• Glycerin: 3% (Humectant)

Final Phase (Cool Down):

• WaterGuard™ Spray: 2% (Film former for water resistance)
• Broad-spectrum Preservative: 1% (e.g., Phenoxyethanol)

Mixing Instructions:

1. Prepare the Oil Phase: Mix OMC, Cyclopentasiloxane, and Light Cream Maker™ together. Add Titanium Dioxide 200nm EasyDisperse™ and stir until the powder is well-dispersed and no clumps remain.
2. Prepare the Water Phase: Mix Water and Glycerin until uniform.
3. Emulsification: Gradually pour the Water Phase into the Oil Phase while stirring continuously (using a high-speed mixer or blender is recommended) until a smooth serum texture is formed.
4. Final Additions: Add WaterGuard™ Spray and the preservative. Mix thoroughly.
5. Adjust pH: Check the pH; it should be around 6.0-7.0.
