Question
Regarding a sunscreen formulation, I have two questions:
1. Can I add skin beneficial ingredients or extracts to the formula? If so, at which step should they be added, and which ingredient's percentage should be reduced?
2. If I want a lighter skin feel, can I use `Warp Cream Maker` instead of `Milk Lotion Maker`?
Answer
Based on the discussion, here is a suggested lightweight, waterproof sunscreen formulation using SPF Protect Ultra II:
Lightweight Sunscreen Formula
- SPF Protect Ultra II: 15%
- Warp Cream Maker: 4%
- Satin Cream Maker: 0.7%
- Cyclomethicone: 10%
- Mild Preserved Eco: 1%
- Water: 69.3%
Notes:
- This formula uses Warp Cream Maker for a lighter skin feel.
- When using Warp Cream Maker, a blender is required for mixing.
- You can add skin beneficial ingredients or extracts by reducing the percentage of water.
