Could you suggest a formulation for a lip balm using the following ingredients, and advise on adjusting its texture? The ingredients I am considering are:
- Oil Blender™
- Microcrystalline Wax
- Vitamin E Acetate
- Limonene
- D&C Red No.7 Lake EasyMix™
- Mineral oil

Based on the ingredients you provided for your lip balm, the staff recommends the following formulation:
- Oil Blender™: 3.5%
- Microcrystalline Wax: 15%
- Vitamin E Acetate: 0.1%
- Limonene: 0.1-0.5% (provides a lemon-like scent)
- D&C Red No.7 Lake EasyMix™: 1-3% (or adjust for desired color intensity)
- Mineral oil: The remaining percentage
The staff also noted that you can adjust the percentage of Microcrystalline Wax to make the lip balm firmer (increase wax) or softer (decrease wax).
