Here is a sample formulation for a 1000ml batch of liquid soap designed for both face and body, targeting acne, providing antibacterial benefits, and helping to brighten the skin. This formula incorporates a gentle, sulfate-free base and active ingredients based on your needs and previous suggestions.
Sample Formulation (1000ml)
- Sulfate Free Shampoo Base: 30% (300 g)
- Encapsulated Salicylic Acid (Liquid, Timed-Release, Wash-Off): 3.3% (33 g)
- Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide): 5% (50 g)
- Mild Preserved Eco™: 1% (10 g)
- Distilled Water: 60.7% (607 g)
Ingredient Functions:
- Sulfate Free Shampoo Base: Provides the cleansing structure for the liquid soap, offering a gentle, sulfate-free option suitable for face and body.
- Encapsulated Salicylic Acid (Liquid, Timed-Release, Wash-Off): A Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that helps exfoliate skin cells, unclog pores, and has antibacterial properties effective against acne-causing bacteria. The encapsulated, timed-release form is designed to be gentler on the skin, suitable for wash-off products.
- Safe-B3™ (Vitamin B3, Niacinamide): Helps to reduce redness and hyperpigmentation, improving skin tone and brightness. It also helps regulate oil production, which is beneficial for acne-prone skin, and strengthens the skin barrier.
- Mild Preserved Eco™: Acts as a preservative to prevent microbial growth and ensure the product remains safe and stable.
Simple Mixing Instructions:
- Combine the Distilled Water and Safe-B3™. Stir until the Safe-B3™ is fully dissolved.
- Add the Sulfate Free Shampoo Base to the water mixture. Stir gently until well combined, avoiding vigorous mixing that can create excessive bubbles.
- Carefully add the Encapsulated Salicylic Acid. Stir gently (below 1000 rpm) to disperse it evenly without damaging the encapsulation.
- Add the Mild Preserved Eco™. Blend or stir for approximately 5 minutes until the mixture becomes clear.
- Check the pH of the final product. It should ideally be in the range of 4.0-7.0 for optimal performance of Safe-B3™ and compatibility with Salicylic Acid.
