Recommended Formulation Percentages

• Cocamidopropyl Betaine: 30%
• ClearClean™: 5%
• Vitamin B5 (D-Panthenol Care): 0.5 - 1.0%
• Jojoba Oil: 0.5 - 2.0% (Note: Adding oil may cause the final product to be cloudy)
• Aroma Oil (Essential Oil): 0.5 - 1.0% (Note: Adding oil may cause the final product to be cloudy)
• Water: Add to make 100%

Method

Follow these steps to create your liquid soap:

1. Combine the required amount of Water and ClearClean™. Stir gently to disperse the ClearClean™.
2. Add the Cocamidopropyl Betaine to the mixture and stir gently until well combined. Avoid vigorous stirring to minimize foam.
3. Adjust the pH of the mixture to approximately 6.5-6.8 using a suitable alkaline ingredient (such as Triethanolamine solution). This helps the ClearClean™ thicken effectively.
4. Add the Vitamin B5 and Jojoba Oil to the base. Stir until these ingredients are evenly distributed. Be aware that adding oils can sometimes result in a cloudy appearance.
5. In a separate small container, mix the Aroma Oil with Flora Solve Clear. A recommended ratio is 2-5 parts Flora Solve Clear to 1 part Aroma Oil. Stir well until the mixture is clear.
6. Slowly add the solubilized Aroma Oil mixture from step 5 into the main liquid soap base while stirring gently.
7. Adjust the final pH of your liquid soap to a skin-friendly range, typically between pH 5.5 and 6.5. This pH range is also suitable for maintaining the clarity of the formula when using ClearClean™.
8. Add a suitable broad-spectrum preservative to ensure the stability and safety of your product over time. Stir to incorporate.
9. Once all ingredients are fully incorporated and the desired consistency is achieved, pour the liquid soap into your containers.

Adding oils like Jojoba Oil and Aroma Oil can potentially reduce the clarity of the final product. Using Flora Solve Clear to pre-mix the aroma oil helps to incorporate the oil more effectively and can improve clarity compared to adding the oil directly.
