Liquid Soap Formulation with Fragrance Oil

Here is a simple formulation for liquid soap that includes fragrance oil, using bases available from MySkinRecipes.

We recommend using SweetWash™ Hand (Hand Wash Foaming Base) as it is specifically designed to help fragrances last longer on the skin after washing. You can add up to 3% fragrance oil to this base.

Simple Formula using SweetWash™ Hand:

• SweetWash™ Hand (Hand Wash Foaming Base): 47%
• Fragrance Oil: 1-3%
• Preservative (e.g., Mild Preserved Eco): 1%
• Water: Add to 100%

Instructions:

1. Mix SweetWash™ Hand with water and the preservative until well combined.
2. Add the desired amount of fragrance oil (1-3%) and stir gently until evenly dispersed.
3. Package the liquid soap.

Alternatively, you can use Sulfate-Free Foaming Base (pH 6, Clear, Foaming) as a general liquid soap base. For this base, you would typically mix it with water at 25-35% and then add other desired ingredients like fragrance oil, thickeners, and preservatives.

Remember to always perform stability testing on your final formulation.
