Keratin Hair Straightening Formula

For a keratin hair straightening treatment similar to those found in salons that can provide long-lasting results, you can consider using KeraStraight™ (Keratin for straightening hair). This ingredient is a combination of Keratin Amino Acids and Carbocysteine designed to gently straighten hair without the harshness of traditional chemical straighteners like Thioglycolate.

It is known for its effectiveness in achieving a high level of straightening and is considered gentle on the hair, even with repeated use.

Here is an example formula and usage steps using KeraStraight™:

Example Formula

• BTAC: 3%
• Cetearyl Alcohol: 6%
• Silicone Hi-Cond: 1%
• Vitamin B5: 1%
• Poly-Conditioner Eco: 1%
• KeraStraight™: 20%
• Mild Preserved Eco: 1%
• Water: remaining amount to 100%

Steps for Use

1. Mix BTAC, Cetearyl Alcohol, Silicone Hi-Cond, Vitamin B5, Poly-Conditioner Eco, Mild Preserved Eco, and Water. Warm the mixture to 70-80 degrees Celsius.
2. Let the mixture cool down to no more than 40 degrees Celsius.
3. Add KeraStraight™ and blend until fully incorporated.
4. Before applying, wash and rinse hair thoroughly, ensuring no shampoo residue remains.
5. Blow dry hair completely, leaving no moisture.
6. Gently spread and apply the formula on the hair from roots to ends.
7. Leave on for 15 minutes to allow KeraStraight™ to penetrate the hair.
8. Blow dry hair again, combing and straightening it.
9. Use a hair straightener at 200-230 degrees Celsius to activate KeraStraight™. Avoid higher temperatures.
10. Leave for at least 15 minutes.
11. Wash and/or condition your hair again.
