Lubricant Gel Formulations

Here are two formulations for lubricant gels based on your request:

Formula 1: White, Viscous Water-Based Gel

This formula provides a white, viscous texture. The opacity comes from the addition of a water-dispersible white pigment.

• Glycerin: 30%
• Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC): 1%
• Snail Resin (Choose based on desired stretch: medium or ultra stretch): 3-5%
• WaterMix™ White: 5-10% (Adjust for desired opacity)
• Phenoxyethanol SA: 0.5%
• Purified Water: q.s. to 100%

Instructions:

1. Heat the Purified Water to approximately 70°C.
2. Slowly sprinkle in the Hydroxyethyl Cellulose and Snail Resin while stirring continuously until fully dissolved and a gel forms. Maintain heat if necessary to aid dissolution.
3. Add Glycerin and stir until well combined.
4. Allow the mixture to cool below 60°C.
5. Add Phenoxyethanol SA and WaterMix™ White. Stir until homogenous.

Formula 2: Clear, Viscous Gel (Similar to Nuru)

This formula provides a clear, viscous, and stretchy texture, similar to Nuru gel. This is the formula previously provided by the staff.

• Glycerin: 30%
• Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC): 1%
• Snail Resin (Choose based on desired stretch: medium or ultra stretch): 3-5%
• Phenoxyethanol SA: 0.5%
• Purified Water: q.s. to 100%

Instructions:

1. Heat the Purified Water to approximately 70°C.
2. Slowly sprinkle in the Hydroxyethyl Cellulose and Snail Resin while stirring continuously until fully dissolved and a gel forms. Maintain heat if necessary to aid dissolution.

Notes:

• Adjust the percentage of Snail Resin (3-5%) to achieve your desired level of stretchiness.
• Ensure all ingredients are fully dissolved and the mixture is homogenous before proceeding to the next step.
• Always perform a small test batch before making a large quantity.
