• CreamThick™ (Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate): Another easy-to-use powder that doesn't require heat. It gives a milky white gel texture. Use typically between 0.5% and 5%, depending on the desired thickness.
• ThixoGel™ (Thixotropic Gel Maker): This creates a unique texture that is thick when still but becomes more liquid when shaken or applied (thixotropic). It requires heating the water phase (below 80°C) to dissolve. Use typically between 0.1% and 3%.

Choose the thickener based on the desired texture and ease of processing. Sepimax Zen and CreamThick™ are simpler as they don't require heating.

Basic Water Lotion Formula Idea

• Rosemary Water: Up to 100% (e.g., 97-99%)

• Preservative: As needed (Note: The Rosemary Water product [ID 6916] is already preserved with Phenoxyethanol 0.5% if used at over 60% concentration).

Instructions:

1. Measure the Rosemary Water.
2. Slowly add the chosen thickener to the Rosemary Water while stirring or blending until fully dispersed and the desired texture is achieved. Follow the specific instructions for your chosen thickener (e.g., heat for ThixoGel™).
3. If using other water-soluble ingredients, add them before or after the thickener, depending on their solubility and the thickener's requirements.
4. Ensure proper preservation if using unpreserved Rosemary Water or adding ingredients that dilute the existing preservative below effective levels.

This will result in a thickened, water-based product with the properties of Rosemary Water.
