Milk Bath Formula using Oil Milk™ (Laureth-4)
Question
I would like to make a milk bath product that turns milky white when mixed with water. I plan to use Oil Milk™ (Laureth-4) along with natural oil.
Could you please provide a simple formula for this?
How should I mix and use it?
Can I adjust the percentage of Oil Milk™ to control the milky appearance? If so, what is the recommended range?
Answer
Milk Bath Formula using Oil Milk™
To create a milk bath that turns milky white when it comes into contact with water, you can use Oil Milk™ (Laureth-4) mixed with your preferred natural oils.
Simple Formula:
- Any natural oil: 80%
- Oil Milk™ (Laureth-4): 20%
Instructions:
- Mix the natural oil and Oil Milk™ together thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into your bathwater. The mixture will disperse and turn the water milky white, providing a moisturizing bath experience.
You can adjust the percentage of Oil Milk™ between 10-40% depending on how much emulsification (milky effect) you desire. A higher percentage will create a more opaque, milky appearance.
This formula is based on the "Milk soap" concept from the Oil Milk™ product description, adapted for a bath soak application.
