Question
I want to mix Dimethicone with water. Are there emulsifier alternatives to SiliSolve?
Specifically, if using Milk Lotion Maker or Oil-Fix, what are the recommended usage percentages and mixing ratios for Dimethicone and water?
Also, can I pick up my order myself, and if so, how and when can I do that?
Answer
Regarding mixing Dimethicone with water for dilution:
- Alternative Emulsifiers: Besides SiliSolve, if the concentration of Dimethicone in your formula is no more than 40%, you can consider using Milk Lotion Maker as an emulsifier. If you encounter separation over time, Oil-Fix (1-3%) can be used as a stabilizer.
- Mixing Ratio: The staff recommended using Milk Lotion Maker if Dimethicone is at a concentration of 40% or less in the total formula (Dimethicone + Water). The exact amount of emulsifier needed will depend on the specific concentration of Dimethicone you use.
- Self-Pickup: Yes, you can pick up your order yourself. Please select "รับสินค้าเอง (Pick-Up)" as the shipping method during checkout. You can pick up the item at the company 5 hours after payment. The company map will be shown on the website after selecting this option.
