Mixing Glycerin & Lanolin and using Glycerin in Liquid Soap for Dry Skin
Question
I have two questions regarding ingredients for very dry skin:
1. Can Glycerin (Vegetable) 99.8% and Lanolin Natural be mixed together? Can they be mixed with my current lotion or applied directly?
2. Can I add Glycerin to liquid body wash/soap to help moisturize very dry skin?
Answer
Based on the staff's reply, you can mix Glycerin (Vegetable) 99.8% and Lanolin Natural together, mix them with your current lotion, or apply them directly to your skin.
Regarding mixing Glycerin with liquid soap, you can do this, but it won't significantly help with moisturizing as it will be washed off. For very dry skin, the staff recommends reducing the concentration of the soap you use and applying a body cream afterwards. They also mentioned that there are many other moisturizing ingredients available on the website.
I hope this summary of the staff's helpful response clarifies your questions! Let me know if you have any more questions.
