Formulation Mixing Instructions

Here are the steps to mix each of the formulations you provided:

Cleansing Gel (for face, eyes, lip)

Ingredients:

• Water (82%)
• Poloxamer 184 (10%)
• Betaine (3%)
• Allantoin (0.5%)
• 1,2-Hexanediol (3%)
• Citric acid (adjust pH)
• Mild Preserved Eco (1%)
• Xanthan Gum (0.5%)

Mixing Steps:

1. In the water phase, add Water, Poloxamer 184, Betaine, Allantoin, and 1,2-Hexanediol. Stir until all ingredients are dissolved. Gentle heating (up to 30-40°C) can help dissolve Allantoin and Betaine if needed, but ensure Allantoin dissolves completely (it has a solubility limit of 0.5% at 25°C).
2. In a separate container, disperse Xanthan Gum in a small amount of the 1,2-Hexanediol or a small portion of the water phase while stirring vigorously to avoid clumps. Once dispersed, add this mixture to the main water phase and stir or blend at high speed until a clear gel forms.
3. Add Mild Preserved Eco to the mixture and stir to combine.
4. Measure the pH of the mixture. Gradually add small amounts of Citric acid, stirring well after each addition, until the desired pH (typically around 5.5-6.5 for skin) is reached.
5. Ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated and the gel is clear and uniform.

Cleanser

• Sodium cocoamphocetate (20%)
• Panthenol (5%)
• Betaine (3%)
• Allantoin (0.5%)
• 1,2-Hexanediol (3%)
• Citric acid (adjust pH)
• Mild Preserved Eco (1%)
• Xanthan Gum (0.5%)

Mixing Steps:

1. In the water phase, combine Water, Sodium cocoamphocetate, Panthenol, Betaine, Allantoin, and 1,2-Hexanediol. Stir until all soluble ingredients are dissolved. Gentle heating (up to 30-40°C) can help dissolve Allantoin and Betaine if needed. Note that Panthenol at 5% might make the product feel slightly gooey.
2. In a separate container, disperse Xanthan Gum in a small amount of the 1,2-Hexanediol or a small portion of the water phase while stirring vigorously to avoid clumps. Once dispersed, add this mixture to the main water phase and stir or blend at high speed until a uniform texture is achieved.

Serum

Ingredients:

• Water (86.9%)
• Panthenol (5%)
• Ceramide Complex (Water Dispersible Powder) (1%)
• Betaine (3%)
• Madecassoside-80 (Centella Asiatica Extract) (1%)
• Allantoin (0.5%)
• Amitose goa (0.1%)
• DMI (Dimethyl Isosorbide) (3%)
• Mild Preserved Eco (1%)
• Xanthan Gum (0.5%)

Mixing Steps:

1. In the water phase, combine Water, Panthenol, Betaine, Allantoin, Amitose goa, and DMI. Stir until soluble ingredients are dissolved. Gentle heating (up to 30-40°C) can help dissolve Allantoin and Betaine if needed. Note that Panthenol at 5% might make the product feel slightly gooey.
2. Prepare the Ceramide Complex: Disperse the Ceramide Complex powder in a small amount of DMI or a small portion of the water phase. Heat this dispersion to 70-80°C while stirring continuously until it becomes a homogeneous, opaque mixture. Add this heated mixture to the main water phase and stir well.
3. In a separate container, disperse Xanthan Gum in a small amount of DMI or a small portion of the water phase while stirring vigorously to avoid clumps. Once dispersed, add this mixture to the main water phase and stir or blend at high speed until a clear gel forms.
4. Once the mixture has cooled down (below 40°C), add Madecassoside-80 and Mild Preserved Eco. Stir gently until fully incorporated. Avoid exposing Madecassoside-80 to high heat.
5. Measure the pH of the mixture. The recommended pH for Madecassoside is 4-6.5. Adjust the pH if necessary using a suitable acid or base, stirring well after each small addition.
6. Ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated and the serum is clear and uniform.
