Mixing Perfect-C™ with Natural Oils

Yes, you can mix Perfect-C™ (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) with natural oils such as Argan Oil and Rose Hip Oil. Perfect-C™ is an oil-soluble form of Vitamin C, making it compatible with oil-based formulations. You can directly mix Perfect-C™ into the natural oils.

For long-term storage, traditional preservatives that protect against bacterial and fungal growth are generally not necessary in anhydrous (water-free) oil mixtures. However, natural oils, especially those rich in unsaturated fatty acids like Argan Oil and Rose Hip Oil, are prone to oxidation over time, which can lead to rancidity and degradation of the oils and potentially the Perfect-C™. To extend the shelf life and protect the oils from oxidation, it is highly recommended to add an antioxidant.
