Yes, heat is required to mix this formula, specifically 70 degrees Celsius. This helps the SPF Protect Ultra II dissolve completely to ensure full sun protection effectiveness.

Here are the mixing instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients except the water.
2. Heat this mixture to 70 degrees Celsius and blend or stir until everything is well combined.
3. Separately, heat the Purified Water to 70 degrees Celsius.
4. While continuously blending the heated mixture from step 2, gradually add the heated Purified Water.
5. Continue blending until all the water has been added and the mixture forms a uniform, light yellow cream.
6. If you wish to add color using Beige Iron Oxides EasyMix™, you can add it in step 1 with the other ingredients.
