Mixing Stabilized Vitamin C (Natural-C Glycol™) Serum with Hyaluronic Acid Base
Question
I would like to know if the Stabilized Vitamin C (Natural-C Glycol™) Serum can be mixed into a hyaluronic acid base. If mixing is possible, will it reduce the effectiveness of the serum? Or can only fragrance and color be adjusted? I want to adjust it because the texture is too liquid and I want it to be more viscous.
Answer
Stabilized Vitamin C (Natural-C Glycol™) Serum and Hyaluronic Acid Base
Regarding mixing Stabilized Vitamin C (Natural-C Glycol™) Serum with a hyaluronic acid base to increase viscosity, the product description states that this serum is intended as a ready-to-use product and is not suitable for mixing with any additional ingredients.
Adding other ingredients, such as a hyaluronic acid base, may affect the stability and effectiveness of the vitamin C in the serum.
The only exceptions for mixing are adding perfume (up to 1%) and coloring.
Therefore, it is not recommended to mix Stabilized Vitamin C (Natural-C Glycol™) Serum with a hyaluronic acid base. If you wish to modify the formulation further, it is advised to contact the company's R&D team for guidance to ensure stability and efficacy.
