Nail Discoloration from Vitamin C Serum

This is a common phenomenon with Vitamin C serums. The discoloration is not due to the serum affecting your nails directly, but rather the Vitamin C oxidizing when it comes into contact with air or skin, causing a temporary stain. It does not harm your nails. As correctly pointed out in the previous replies, washing your hands thoroughly after applying the serum should help prevent this discoloration from occurring on your nails and cuticles.
