Natto Gum and Stretchy Texture

Natto Gum is primarily known for its excellent moisturizing properties, even more so than Hyaluronic Acid, and can also offer gentle skin whitening benefits. It contains Polyglutamic Acid which helps hydrate the skin.

However, Natto Gum does not create the stretchy, stringy texture often associated with "snail slime" creams.

Similarly, Snail Secretion Filtrate itself (whether liquid extract or freeze-dried) does not typically create this stretchy texture in formulations, as noted in product descriptions.

To achieve a stretchy texture similar to snail mucus in creams or gels, ingredients like Snail Resin (such as PEG-90M or PEG-160M) are used.
