Natural Face Cleansing Formula

Creating a completely "chemical-free" formula is challenging, as all substances, including natural ones, are composed of chemicals. However, it is possible to formulate cleansers using ingredients derived from natural sources that are gentle on the skin.

One option is to use a powder cleanser base like Amino Powder Cleanser. Its cleansing agents are derived from amino acids and coconut, making it very gentle and suitable even for sensitive skin. You can create a simple powder cleanser by mixing:

• Amino Powder Cleanser: 75%
• Corn Starch Powder: 24%
• Vitamin B5: 1%

This type of formula does not require preservatives due to the absence of water.

Another natural ingredient that can be used in a cleansing routine is Witch Hazel. While primarily used as a toner to help tighten pores, it can be applied directly to the skin and is derived from a natural plant through distillation. Options include Witch Hazel (Distillate - Alcohol Free, Paraben Free) or Witch Hazel (Alcohol Free, Paraben Free) Plus Allantoin, which includes Allantoin to help reduce irritation and moisturize.

For oil cleansing, natural oils can be used, but they often require an emulsifier to be easily washed off with water. Many effective emulsifiers are synthetic, which might not align with a strictly "chemical-free" requirement.
