Night Lip Brightening Gel Formula

Creating a night lip treatment to address dark lips and provide moisture is a great idea. You already have WhiteCumin™ 2x, which is an excellent ingredient for brightening and has antioxidant properties.

Lip skin is delicate, so it's important to use gentle ingredients. While WhiteCumin™ 2x is a good starting point, you can enhance the formula's effectiveness by adding other gentle whitening and anti-pigmentation ingredients.

Based on your goal and the properties of available ingredients, consider adding Pep®-Radiance and GlyciWhite™. Both are water-soluble and known for their brightening and anti-pigmentation effects without causing irritation, making them suitable for sensitive lip skin. Pep®-Radiance also offers benefits for circulation and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Here is a basic example of a gel formula incorporating these ingredients:

Sample Lip Brightening Gel Formula

• Water Phase:
  • Water: q.s. to 100%
  • Glycerin: 5% (Provides moisture)
  • WhiteCumin™ 2x: 3% (Brightening, Antioxidant)
  • Pep®-Radiance: 1% (Brightening, Anti-pigmentation)
  • GlyciWhite™: 5% (Anti-pigmentation, Gentle)
  • Gelling Agent (e.g., Carbomer powder): 0.5% (To create the gel texture)
• Other:
  • Preservative: 1% (To keep the product safe)
  • pH Adjuster (e.g., Triethanolamine or Sodium Hydroxide solution): q.s. (To thicken the gel and adjust pH)

Instructions:

1. Disperse the gelling agent in water and let it hydrate fully.
2. Add Glycerin, WhiteCumin™ 2x, Pep®-Radiance, and GlyciWhite™ to the water phase and mix well.
3. Slowly add the pH adjuster solution while mixing until the gel thickens to your desired consistency and the pH is suitable for skin (typically around 5.5-6.5).
4. Add the preservative and mix thoroughly.

Apply this gel to your lips at night for brightening and moisturizing benefits.
