Properties and Usage of Clay Thick Ready

Based on the staff's response, here are the properties of Clay Thick Ready:

• Absorption: Clay Thick Ready absorbs both water and oil, helping the formula dry faster on the skin. It doesn't absorb only oil like Matt Silica (Product ID 518) or only water like Kaolin (Product ID 285).
• Skin Feel & Pilling: It does not stick to the skin. However, using too much or incorrectly can cause pilling (forming small balls or flakes) on the skin.
• Gel/Cream Formation & Absorption: Clay Thick Ready helps stabilize and thicken the formula, but it cannot be used alone to create a gel or cream base. It does not act as an emulsifier. You still need a cream maker, such as Satin Cream Maker (Product ID 247), to create and emulsify the texture. The staff response does not directly compare the absorption of active ingredients, but since Clay Thick Ready is a thickener/stabilizer and not a primary cream maker/emulsifier like Satin Cream Maker, its role in active ingredient absorption might be different. It also doesn't require an absorption aid like Xanthan Gum (Product ID 216) in the same way Xanthan Gum might be used for thickening or gelling.
• Appearance: The gel or formula created with Clay Thick Ready will be cloudy white, not clear, and not appear as white powder like Matt Silica (Product ID 518).
• Emulsification: Clay Thick Ready does not emulsify oil or silicone. You need a separate cream maker/emulsifier for this purpose.
• Dissolving in Water: When mixed with water, it will become a smooth, mud-like texture. It will not dissolve until clear.
• Setting Time: It takes 48 hours to set. After 48 hours, the texture will be stable, and you do not need to stir or mix it again.
