Protease Enzyme for Laundry Detergent

Its properties and optimal working conditions, such as the recommended pH range of 5.5-8.5 and the need to be mixed with water just before application to the skin, are suited for cosmetic formulations like powder masks or cleansing powders.

Laundry detergents require enzymes with different characteristics, including stability and activity at higher pH levels, varying temperatures, and in the presence of various surfactants and chemicals found in detergent formulations. The Protease Enzyme (Product ID 1017) is not formulated to withstand these conditions and is therefore not suitable for use as an ingredient in laundry detergent.
