Pump Bottle Suitability for Different Textures and Tube Length

Question

I would like to inquire about the pump bottles:

  • Do the tubes inside the pump bottles reach the bottom of the bottle?
  • What types of product textures are suitable for pump bottles (e.g., serum, cream, gel, thick products, lotion)?
  • Can the first bottle type dispense gel completely, even when the amount is low?
  • Can the second bottle type be used for body lotion, and will it dispense properly?

Answer

Based on the staff's response regarding the pump bottles:

  • For both types of bottles shown, the tube inside the pump reaches the bottom of the bottle. This design allows the pump to draw out the product even when the level is low.
  • Pump bottles are best suited for products with lighter textures, such as serums, creams, or gels that are not too thick.
  • They are generally not suitable for very heavy or thick products (like some thick lotions or creams) as the pump may not function effectively.

Therefore:

  • The first bottle should be able to dispense gel even when the content is low because the tube reaches the bottom.
  • The second bottle can be used for body lotion, but its suitability depends on the lotion's thickness. If the lotion is not too heavy, it should work. The tube also reaches the bottom in this type of bottle.
