Question
In my kaffir lime herbal shampoo formulation, if I previously used Phenoxyethanol at a concentration of 1.0% and it was effective in controlling microbial growth, I would like to ask if I can use Phenonip P4 alone at a concentration of 1.0% as a replacement?
Answer
Regarding your question about using Phenonip P4 as a preservative in your kaffir lime herbal shampoo, replacing Phenoxyethanol:
Based on the staff's reply, if you were previously able to control microbial growth using Phenoxyethanol (product ID 155) at 1.0%, then you can indeed use Phenonip P4 (product ID 893) alone at 1.0% as a replacement.
