We have reviewed your original formula and the staff's feedback. As the staff correctly pointed out, your initial formula did not sum up to 100% and crucially lacked water, which is a necessary base for dissolving many active ingredients and forming a serum texture.

The staff has provided a revised formula that includes water and shea butter, making it a feasible formulation. This revised formula contains ingredients that target your stated concerns:

Suggested Mixing Procedure for the Revised Formula:

1. Water Phase: Combine Water, Glycerin, Panthenol, Safe-B3™ (Niacinamide), GlucoBright™, Repair Activator™, Plankton GP4G™, and Reservoir-Tech in a beaker. Stir gently. If any ingredients are not fully dissolving, you can heat this phase gently in a water bath (around 40-50°C) until dissolved.
2. Oil Phase: In a separate beaker, combine Shea Butter and Satin Cream Maker™. Heat gently in a water bath (around 60-70°C) until the shea butter is fully melted and the ingredients are combined.
3. Emulsification: Slowly add the Water Phase to the Oil Phase while continuously stirring or using a homogenizer/stick blender for a few minutes until a uniform emulsion is formed.
4. Cooling: Allow the mixture to cool down to below 40°C.
5. Final Additions: Add Willow Bark Extract, MSH White Absorb™, Apple Stem Cell Extract, and Phenoxyethanol SA (Optiphen Plus). Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
6. pH Adjustment (Optional but Recommended): Check the pH of the final serum. For optimal skin compatibility and ingredient stability (especially Niacinamide), the pH should ideally be between 5.0-6.0. If needed, adjust the pH downwards using a small amount of Lactic Acid solution (if you have it, otherwise Citric Acid solution can be used) or upwards using a Sodium Hydroxide solution. Add drop by drop, mixing well and checking the pH after each addition.

Suggestions for a Nighttime Serum:

The revised formula is suitable for both day and night use. However, if you wish to create a serum specifically for nighttime with enhanced repair and anti-aging benefits, you could consider incorporating some of the ingredients from your original list that were not included in the staff's revision. When adding ingredients, you will need to reduce the percentage of water accordingly to keep the total at 100%.

Here are some ingredients from your original list that would be beneficial for a nighttime repair serum:

• Matrixyl 3000 (Pal-GHK, Pal-GQPR): A peptide blend known for its anti-aging properties, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve skin tone and elasticity. (Original formula had 5%)
• Active Resveratrol™: A potent antioxidant that helps protect the skin from environmental damage and has anti-aging benefits. (Original formula had 5%)
• Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA Ready™): A strong antioxidant with anti-aging and brightening properties. (Original formula had 5%)
• Centella Asiatica Extract (Madecassoside): Known for its soothing, healing, and skin barrier strengthening properties, which are excellent for overnight repair. (Original formula had 2%)
• WaterLock™: Enhances hydration and forms a protective film on the skin, beneficial for preventing moisture loss overnight. (Original formula had 2%)

You could choose one or a combination of these ingredients to add to the revised base formula, adjusting the water percentage to maintain 100%. For example, adding 5% Matrixyl 3000 would mean reducing the water percentage by 5%.
