Answer
Hello,
I have reviewed your daytime and nighttime facial cream formulations, along with your concerns about dry skin, lifting, wrinkle reduction, and whitening, and have considered the feedback from the staff.
For the Daytime Facial Cream Formula, the staff has checked and found the formula to be suitable for your stated needs. Regarding the preservative (Phenoxyethanol 1%), the staff suggested considering using Mild Preserved Eco 1% or Phenoxyethanol SA 1% instead, as they may be gentler on the skin.
For the Nighttime Facial Cream Formula, the staff noted an issue with the DMAE 10% ingredient. Since DMAE is an electrolyte, it can make cream formation more difficult, especially if you are new to cosmetic formulation.
The staff offered two recommendations:
- If you are a beginner, it is recommended to omit DMAE from the formula. The remaining ingredients will mix together without issues.
- If you wish to use DMAE, you will need to adjust the method and add additional ingredients to help stabilize the cream texture. The staff suggested adding Pro Polymer to the formula to help build texture together with Light Cream Maker. Importantly, DMAE should only be added to the formula as the very last step, after the other ingredients have been mixed to form a complete cream base. The staff referenced a forum thread example from another member who successfully adjusted their method.
In summary, the daytime formula is suitable, with a suggestion to consider alternative preservatives for gentleness. The nighttime formula has a caution regarding the use of DMAE, which can be omitted for simplicity or requires adjusted mixing methods and additional ingredients if included.
I hope this information is helpful for adjusting your formulas. Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
